Adam and Eve raised their sons according to their faith which is why Cain and Able brought a sacrifice to God.
Noah raised his children according to his faith in God even though Ham would sin against him egregiously.
Abraham raised his children according to his faith and therefore circumcised all his household as a sign of his faith.
Jacob now called Israel raised his sons according to his faith and all of his descendants were raised according to his faith in Jehovah.
Moses and Aaron come to deliver Israel from Pharaoh and all of Israel follows Moses out of Egypt, through the Red Sea and into the Desert where Jehovah gives Moses the Law.
However, in each situation above not all the children believed but they were all raised in the faith of their father.
Christian parents are to raise their children according to their faith and when the children are older they then express their faith or lack of faith in Jehovah in their life.
