The key to a relationship with God is His Word. His Word mediates our relationship. If you believe His Word you are in fellowship with God. If you don’t believe His Word you are not in fellowship with God.
You will hear many other pronouncements about what is most important in the life of a Christian. But your faith in God’s Word is the key. You must have a direct faith in His Word. You cannot outsource your faith. Reply upon other’s faith. The faith of your family, friends or church members is not applied to you.
You must have a personal and direct faith in God’s Word. If you do you will understand it; you will live by it; you will depend upon it to recreate you; you will depend upon it to renew your mind; you will understand God’s plan of our redemption; and you will receive eternal life from it.
This is why you must read God’s Word daily. Fellowship with God because fellowship with God comes through His Word. You must be devoted to God’s Word to receive His benefits for they are in His Word.
God’s Word is the key to knowing God. Read it. Believe it. Read it again. Believe it more. Increase your reading of His Word of increase in your fellowship with God.
