Christianity is normal

Jesus in the New Covenant, ‘…this cup is the new covenant in My blood…’ (I Cor 11:25), establishes the power for us to become new creatures which means living souls without sin. As He, the Apostles Paul, Peter and John and James teach in the New Testament they describe life without sin.

Life without sin is normal from God’s perspective. This means as Christians we live life as it was intended by God and is therefore normal.

Exhortations like: worship God and serve Him only; be fruitful and multiply (get married and have many children); work as unto the Lord; honor those in authority; love your neighbor, etc. are exhortations stemming from life without sin.

All other ways to live are not normal for they are birthed by sin. Not normal souls make not normal decisions and have not normal views of life.

The point: Christianity, the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles, describe normal life and not life that is extraordinarily introduced into the world. It’s life as it was intended from the beginning if sin had not entered the world through Eve and then Adam as they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
