Psalm Summary

Psalm 105: Praise the Lord! Seek Him and remember the wonders He has done oh ye sons of Jacob His chosen! He remembered His covenant, your inheritance of the land of Canaan, and set His plan in motion to bring about the fulfillment of His promise. He sent Joseph ahead of His people into Egypt to prepare the way; then He sent Moses to lead them out. He fed them in the desert and gave them the land of Canaan. Why? “..that they might keep His statutes And comply with His laws;” (vs. 45).

Scripture: Summary

Proverbs 9: Wisdom cries out to the world to come and receive; rebuke a wise man and he will love you; rebuke a scoffer receives insults; the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a foolish woman is boisterous and knows nothing but sits also in the streets calling men to her; whoever follows her does not know that dead men are there and that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.

Acts 21:37-22:22: Paul now in the hands of the Roman guard asks to speak to the people. The guard permits it. Paul begins with his live and training as a devout Jew; that he persecuted the followers of the Way (Jesus) but on the road to Damascus Jesus showed Himself to Paul. Jesus sends Ananias to Paul to baptize him and to give him the assignment that Paul is going to be a witness for Him. Lastly Paul tells them Jesus sent him to the Gentiles and when the Jews heard that statement they shouted away with him, “he should not be allowed to live”. (vs. 22).
