Proverbs 10:16-32: This too is an amazingly specific comparison of the righteous and the wicked. This is must read too so you can see the descriptive words used. There should be no confusion of the path, actions and beliefs of the righteous and the wicked.
Matthew 10:24-42: Jesus teaches His disciples that people will treat them as He is treated. Therefore do not be afraid of them but preach in the light and on the housetops what He tells them in secret. Be afraid of the One who can cast their soul into hell. But He, Jesus’ Father, also cares for them.
Therefore if you confess me before men He will confess them to His Father in heaven; He did not come to bring peace but a sword that divides even families; they must love Him above all people in their life and they will be rewarded in this life and the next.
