Psalms: 98-101: Summary
Psalm 98: Praise the Lord! He is the victor and in His mercy declared His salvation to the world. Let the whole world praise the Lord! He shall judge the world equitably in righteousness.
Psalm 99: The Lord is above all: the cherubim, earth, Zion and the people. The King loves righteous, equitable judgement executed in Jacob. The Lord hears those who call upon Him and speaks to them including Moses, Aaron and Samuel. They kept His law. He forgave their sins. Worship the Lord for He is holy!
Psalm 100: Praise the Lord and serve Him with gladness. The Lord He is God who has made us and He cars for us. Go into His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Be thankful and speak good of His name. Why? Because the Lord is gracious, His mercy everlasting and His truth endures from generation to generation.
Psalm 101: The Lord teaches the way of godliness. Ungodliness: a froward heart, wicked person, slanderers, proud, deceitful and liars shall be rooted out of His presence. The faithful and godly shall be His servant and dell with Him.
Scripture: Summary
Proverbs 6:1-19: Don’t make a pledge for your neighbor; work diligently as the ant; calamity will come suddenly upon a scoundrel; and six items the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination: haughty eyes, lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that run to evil, a lying witness and one who sows discord.
Matthew 9:18-38: faith heals a woman, young girl from death, two blind men and a demon possessed mute man. Jesus preached this faith all over because He had compassion on the people as sheep without a shepherd. He called for His disciples to pray to the Lord, His Father, for more laborers.
